The Polynesian Cultural Center is set up as 7 islands representing 7 different Polynesian Countries (Samoa, New Zealand, Fiji, Hawaii, Tahiti, Tonga, and Easter Island) all connected by a system of lagoon waterways.

Spend the day visiting the different Polynesian villages watching and even participating with the villagers - who actually come from the countries they represent - in cultural activities.

Watch a man scale a 40-foot coconut tree in six seconds flat in the Samoan village. Bang out a Polynesian rhythm on the drums at the Tongan village. Learn how to shake your hips almost as fast as the speed of sight at the Tahitian village. Take a relaxing (and entertaining) canoe ride through the park. There's more than enough to do here to fill the time.

Around 5:30pm enjoy a delicious buffet dinner. The type of dinner will depend on what package you are booking. If you opt for the Ali'i Luau package, you will eat a luau buffet-dinner in the Hale Aloha dining room while performers dance hula. Or go for the Ambassador package and choose between the Ali'i Luau dinner or the Prime Dining prime-rib, crab legs, and just-about-everything-you-can-think-of restaurant dinner. For a limited time enjoy the Island Feast buffet with the free dinner package.

At 7:30pm, transition into the Pacific theater to enjoy Ha: The Breath of Life, the most spectacular show in the islands (think Lion King meets Hawaii plus plenty of fire). Your seats depend on what package you purchase; they're all good seats because it's stadium-style seating, but the seats front and center are reserved for the Ambassador packages.

The show ends at 9:00pm and the buses depart back to Waikiki at 9:30 pm (you can drive out, as well, and pay a nominal parking fee).
