Tour Details

It's the same model helicopter as Magnum P.I.'s, has the same paint job, doesn't have any doors, and is piloted by pros. You know you want to!

$269 Open Seat

$289 First Class Seat (must book as a pair)

If you remember Magnum P.I. you'll remember the iconic helicopter flown by TC. This is that same helicopter, the Hughes 500 - only better - without those pesky doors to get in the way. Plus, every seat has a window view!

Shortly after lift-off, enjoy beautiful views of historic Honolulu Harbor, Aloha Tower, downtown Honolulu, and the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. The tour continues above Magic Island, Waikiki beach and beyond, over Diamond Head, Hanauma Bay, Sandy Beach, Makapuu Point and lighthouse.

You'll fly over miles of white sand beach, passing the gorgeous coral formations of Kaneohe Bay, Chinaman's Hat, and up into Ka'a'awa valley where such movies as Jurassic Park, Mighty Joe Young, 50 First Dates, and many more blockbusters as well as TV series were filmed.

The highlight of the tour is Kaliuwa'a (Sacred Falls), a shear 1,000-foot cascading waterfall.

The tour continues on, over world famous North Shore surfing spots like Sunset Beach, the Banzai Pipeline, and Waimea Bay, as well as the world's largest agricultural maze at the Dole Pineapple Plantation.

The tour concludes with a panoramic vista of Pearl Harbor.

A Superb Photography Platform: if you're a serious photographer you know that the only way to get great aerial photographs is to avoid shooting through Plexiglas windows. Shooting through an open door eliminates distortion and reflections, and your camera angle is wider and unobstructed - the only way to fly for those who take their photos seriously.

Must be 12 years old to ride the doors off helicopter.

Weight Limit - Passenger weights must be known beforehand so the aircraft can be balanced safely. Passengers in excess of 250lbs may be charged an additional fee equal to 1/2 the tour cost. Passengers more than 300lbs will be charged for an additional seat. Any 2 passengers from the same reservation whose combined weight exceeds 430lbs may be required to purchase a comfort seat. There is some flexibility depending on the total number of passengers and their combined weight. Limits are decided on a per flight basis.

1st - Class Seating - Helicopters can seat up to 4 passengers - 2 passengers in the front seat and 2 passengers in the back seats. The front seats are considered "1st-Class" seats, as there is a large viewing window directly in front of those passengers, and can be purchased at a higher price, but must be purchased as a pair with a combined body weight not to exceed 345lbs. In the event of a buy-out (purchase of all 4 seats), all prices will be set at the "Open-Seating" price.

Tour routes assume normal wind and weather conditions. The pilot may need to alter the flight path to accomodate for inclement weather conditions
